Gran H La Marina, great rooms with sea views, car service and canteen. This was the advertisement in the local newspaper in 1920 when this historical singular building opened. Designed in a style then called popular modernism, today it catalogued as one of the most important buildings in Altea. The amazing hydraulic tiles by Nolla were removed one by one and numbered before restoring and laying again, the staircase conserved and restored as many other original features, some discovered under later renovation works done in the 60’s.

The new interior layout was designed with tubular structures made of steel that form a container housing the rooms a simple way of construction that can be altered easily even fully removed without damaging the building.
